I have five huge trees in my garden, beautiful Scott's Pines. Each one of them stands over 70ft tall, but one of them had quite a lot of damage due to broken branches and looked slightly unstable because of it. Personally I wanted to keep all the trees and didn't want anyone of them to be removed unnecessary. I found Robert Threadgold whilst he was working on a couple of trees in West Norwood and asked if you would come around to give me a advice and quote on the work that would be needed. On his arrival Robert Threadgold showed great appreciation and understanding towards trees in general. Which was very important to me as I needed to know that who ever were going to treat these trees, were going to put the interest of the trees before their own financial gain. Robert instantly put myself at eases and I knew I had found the right person for the job. He advised me that all the trees were healthy and none of them needed felling, but general maintenance would be needed to prevent future problems. 80% of this work needed in the upper part of the tree and into the thick canopy. A date was arranged and Robert arrived with all the equipment and tools necessary to climb the Scott's Pine (which were very similar to that of climbing cliff face). The work was carried out very professionally and quickly, with great care towards the trees and his own personal safety. All the debris from the work was collected and carried away. The trees are now balanced and now look perfect. I can now take great comfort knowing theses trees will be growing stronger and straighter for the next 100 years. It isn't everyday that I need a tree surgeon, but when I did - I'm glad I found Robert Threadgold at Capital Trees ltd. Thank you.

I contacted Robert about a HUGE sycamore tree in the small back garden of my new flat. The tree was dominating both my garden and those of my Neighbours, cutting out the light and smothering the gardens in leaves and seeds. From a series of emails and photographs Robert was able to advise me on two options for dealing with the tree (removal or reduction). Robert was very friendly and approachable. He was good at explaining all the variables and giving me a fair quote for each option. In the end I chose to get the tree removed completely so I could replace it with something nicer. Robert and his groundsman worked tirelessly for two full days slowly dismantling the tree from the top and lowering the branches down safely. They chopped every thing up and took it away to be recycled. Im really pleased with the work he did, arriving with wooden boards, tarpaulin and a mattress to cause minimal mess and dammage the the garden. When the job was done they cleared everything up brilliantly. I would highly recommend Robert he is friendly, knowledgeable and a very hard worker.
