A female friend of mine recently went through a very distressing ordeal in this shop and has had to contact the police over harassment. This took place on the afternoon of 25/07/12. She entered the premises to use the internet facilities, couldn't get her terminal to work. Upon making one of the shop assistants aware he invited her behind the counter to 'help her'. She asked why she couldn't just use one of the other computers and he said he couldn't leave the counter. Strange as there were two other guys working there. He then told her how she must be special as they don't usually allow customers behind the counter. Five minutes later she was told he needed to speak to her in private and was told that his mobile phone had gone missing and that he suspected she had taken it. She denied the accusation and offered to empty all of her belongings. The assistant then said this wouldn't be necessary and that he was going to review the CCTV. A few minutes later she was told that she had to accompany him to the office at the back of the shop. Once inside the room, on her own with him, the door was closed behind her and she was shown a paused screen shot of her and shown where the phone WAS! She asked him to play the footage back in real time but he said he couldn't. He then started telling her how attractive he thought she was and that he really wanted to help her out and avoid calling the police. It was at this time that her alarm bells started ringing and she said that if he didn't call the police then she would do so herself. The assisant then let her out of the office but told her to remain in the shop. Another few minutes passed and he asked to see her in private again, this time to tell her that he believed it was someone else. No one had approached the counter the whole time she had been using the computer. She then said that if they didn't let her go she would call the police down and that they could deal with the situation, search her etc. They finally allowed her to leave the shop but not until she left her deatils. She has since received a number of creepy phone messages from the assistant asking her when she is coming to see him again and why she won't return his calls or texts. Very sinister behaviour which left her feeling very distressed.
